Sixteen years at Vodafone Egypt, from radio network engineering and R&D and innovation program management, where he led the university and startup partnership program, to Head of Digital Business Solutions at Vodafone Business, running a P&L above EGP 2 billion across cloud, IoT, cybersecurity, big data and AI and launching the V-Hub digital marketplace for SMEs. Co-founded Significa in 2021 and leads its corporate venture and innovation practice. Nineteen years combining telecom network expertise with technology strategy and venture capital. Sixteen years at Vodafone Group across Africa, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific, as Network Performance Manager and then Technology Strategy and Planning Manager, followed by Startup Scout at Tomorrow Street, Vodafone's innovation joint venture in Luxembourg, and Asset Marketplace Manager. Co-founded Significa in 2021; designs venture clienting and partnership structures for operators and corporates in Egypt and the GCC, and leads the fund and deal architecture of CVC Builder. Eighteen years in investment management, M&A and financial technology. A CFA Charterholder, he leads investment analysis, valuation and fund structuring across Significa's advisory and investment practices, and teaches valuation and fund structures in the CVC Builder curriculum. Concurrently Chief M&A and Growth Officer at AlternativeSoft in London; co-founder of MarkeScope, which developed the first stock-screening solution to incorporate risk measures. Treasurer of CFA Society Egypt; BSc Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Cairo University.

Twenty-two years across telecom operations, financial technology and corporate venture capital. Began at Raya Telecom, then worked in Vodafone Egypt's network, international wholesale and R&D functions and as product owner for AI, IoT and fintech solutions at Vodafone Business, before heading data products and risk at the fintech Cassbana. Led the design and delivery of WE INNOVATE for Telecom Egypt from 2023 to 2024, and built venture clienting programs inside Vodafone Egypt, Obeikan and Tamkeen Technologies. Heads Significa's private credit and corporate advisory practice. MBA, Maastricht School of Management.
